Thanksgiving....over!

Well, Thanksgiving is over....i didn't do too bad with eating....it only took me 35 years to realize that you dont have to stuff yourself sick to enjoy the holiday! I had little portions of what i wanted to eat, and i was fine. Dinner was nice. It was a lot different than the normal though. Usually we go to my Aunt Marlene's house and we have dinner with the whole family....probably over 20 people...well my Aunt Marlene had to have surgery on the 19th and she is still in the hospital. So it was a very different Thanksgiving. Myy mom made dinner but it was only 7 of us. Then for dessert my cousins came over after they got back from the hospital with the kids, which was nice....so it made it a little more crazy and normal :)

It was nice being off of work for 4 days though. Today was rough going back...but i like being back in the groove of planning all my meals and working out in the morning. I need to be on a schedule or all hell breaks loose! During the week i am so scheduled, food wise and with exercise. Being off work really throws my schedule off course.

Tomorrow is Adam's birthday. We are going to go down to Atlantic City on Thursday to celebrate and stay overnight, so i took off work on Friday! So i have intentions on decorating next weekend!

Yesterday i ordered a new coffee table and end tables for my living room. I hope they look ok. I got a little bit of a darker wood i hope it matches ok, that and i hope its not too big! My living room is kinda tiny. We shall see. They are being delivered on Thursday.

I guess thats all i got for now. I want to go back to the gym after work tonight to do more cardio....or i might just go home and do the gazelle....i will see how i feel at 5!

I hope your Aunt gets better soon.

Best wishes to you, and enjoy your time away. You deserve it.

Take care, and have a wonderful day.

:-) :-).

Sorry to hear about your aunt! Sounds like you have a fun week ahead of you and new furniture, Fun!!

I hauled my moms gazelle over here yesterday, she said she wasn't using it and I thought I could get in an hour of low impact while watching Desperate Housewives. I felt very frustrated though...I couldn't get my HR above 100, no matter what I did! Wondering if it is even worth it...I know April used one, Hmmm what is your thoughts? My hubby won't let me get a treadmill, he said Tony or Treadmill, of course I pick Tony!! But it is so frustrating trying to get to the gym twice in one day!! Sorry to rant on your blog!!

I'm in your corner...cheering for you...remember to see the bride you want to be....don't hold back...nothing tastes as good as that dress will feel when you are all buff!!! You can do it, you are worth it!!!

I work much better with a routine too. If there isn't structure, I feel out of whack!
