its the little things......
The other night I was preparing my food for the next day and packing my bag for the gym and i was getting all aggrevated...Adam asked what was wrong....I told him "I feel like im in the movie Groundhog Day doing the same thing over and over and nothing ever changes." Do you know what his response was?? "Something has changed.....you." And you know what? That is so true! And i never looked at it from that perspective.....I have changed....for the better....this is my life....and it is all for the better......i may go through the same routine every day, getting my clothes togther, making my breakfast and lunch.....but it has truly made me a different and better person! And now everytime im packing my bag at night, I smile....because of that small little comment that Adam made to me.......just knowing that he is proud of me and sees how hard i am working....and that i have changed....and that i am dedicated to making myself fitter, stronger and better!

How great that Adam noticed and then also said something. Sometimes, the littlest comment can make a world of difference.
YAY on Transformers. It's easily one of my favorite movies now.
How sweet is that? We can tell you till our faces turn blue but for him to make that remark, priceless!!!
Darnit, now I need to go drool over Josh....I mean see Transformers now too!!
Exactly right Angela. He noticed that about you, and now you do too.
It was quite obvious when you read your blog, that you have changed for the better, not that there was anything bad about before, but you've developed your emotional and mental sides too, so you have a good balance along with the physical sides, and that's why you get great results.
It's not a spiritual, mystical or religious thing, but when the physical, emotional and mental side of you, are harmoniously balanced, that helps facilitate better physical progress and results, because you stick at it, and want it better.
So you should be proud of yourself. You haven't had to lose 50+ lb's, but you've done some amazing things recently, and you shouldn't take anything away from that.
Be proud, feel good about it, smile, (you deserve to), and WELL DONE.
:-) :-).
Matt
Wow, what a wonderful thing to say - no wonder you're marrying him! It's amazing how we get focused on the the work and forget the results sometimes. So glad you've stepped back to admire the big (poor choice of wording) picture.
That is pretty cool that he noticed.
Change is good especially when it is for the better.
Now it is a habit that will be hard to break.
That gave me goosebumps!
Awesome, what a great comment!
