I dont want to be in work right now!!!! I went for a walk at lunch and it is sooo nice out! I dont want to be here! I should be out enjoying the lovely sunshine! I think they should let us all go home early....yeah right!
I still have negative body image issues....i try to think positive and all and i try to stop myself from being negative.....example.....it is like almost 80 degrees today.....and i was too self conscious not to wear my coat outside cause im afraid i look fat.....that people were going to be looking at me and all my fatness!

I have been drinking so much water...i feel like im going to float away...i literally have to go to the bathroom every 25-30 minutes!
Today was shoulders....i couldn't do the cable raises....they are too hard for me yet...so i substitute them with side dumbell raises....(dont tell on me ;)
Maybe one day, when im big and strong, i will be able to do them.....
oh and one more complaint......i hate the olympic bar.....the damn thing is 45 pounds on its own! how the frig am i supposed to do squats or lunges on the damn thing when i cant even lift it! I have to do them on the smith machine...which i love!! I hope substituing doesn't affect anything....cause believe me they still hurt....
On the marriage front......everything is still going forward....we are going saturday for rings.....

Substituting is fine! That is exactly what I did when I started! Tony would always give be Barbell curls in my bicep workout and I was always like are you kidding me?! Now I can do em and with 5lbs added to each side! Keep going and don't get discouraged but if you do, blame it on PMS and move on! :)
Subbing is Fine. I used to Bench, with an Olympic, but a couple of mishaps put me on the Smith, for safety reasons, and now I choose to do Dumbbell variation instead. I think the Dumbbell one stops one side of the body potentially being dominant, and uses both Arms, and associated stabilisers, synergists in a more equal way.
Plus it doesn't feel like I might be knackering my shoulders up, if I do it twice a week for 40 years :-).
You're only huamn Angela, you can't defy the laws of physics, so you have to do the best you can, and in time, it will become better the more you progress and physically adapt.
As long as you're positive, believe, and don't let anything get you down, and put you off, which you're not doing, you'll be fine.
You're doing great, so don't worry about little things, and just keep sucking it up, and cranking out the results.
You should be proud of yourself, so well done, and don't sweat it misses.

I did my walking lunges today with dumbbells (actually plates because it was more convenient) instead of the bar - and I tell Tony, so don't sweat it.
Body image is tough, I often struggle, so I don't know the answer, but I think we're on the right path.
