damn easter candy

why do people find it necessary to take in leftover easter candy to work and put it in front of me?? Yes people, i don't know why my willpower is dying for some reason, but i ate like 10 jellybeans!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with me???? A few weeks ago, i would NEVER have even looked at a jelly bean, let alone eat one! I hate myself! I know im only sabotaging all my hard work....i need to get my focus back! I need to get that strict mentality back. I think i know the problem.... I know that i am starting to look better and getting thinner, so im thinking, i can eat this, it wont hurt me!!!!

But that is exactly what got me how i was before!

I need to stop..NOW!

Fucking jelly beans.

So use the sugar to fuel a workout. 10 jelly beans is not the end of the world, but like you're saying, it's something to pay attention to.

Know what the problem is? We're human. Wish I was a robot sometimes, at least when it comes to my weakness -- chocolate chip cookies!

Leslie's right ... we are human. It happens and the key is moving past it which I know you can do.

You said it yourself. When you don't see anything much that needs work, you think you don't need to give 100%.

Probably a common way to think. I mean if someone was trying to lose 60lbs, they'd be doing everything possible to shift it, but when they get up and see that last 10lbs, they might not feel as strong a compulsion to give 100%, because the happier they feel about their appearance, the less repugnant it is, and the less they might feel the need to do something about it.

Plus when you've kicked a load of weight into touch, what's a few extra lbs? You can get rid of those like you did the others before, so no real problem right!!!

So yes, you're no different to probably miliions of people going back decades, who have been in your boat, or had to start from a far worse condition than you.

The fact you identified what you did, and know why you did it, is a big plus, and it helps with the learning and conditioning process, and you're understanding yourself better.

So don't see this as a mistake, see this as a positive thing. You learned something about yourself, you know how to change it, and stop it happening as much, or at all.

Better than acting flummuxed, not understanding why you did this thing, and calling yourself names, and beating yourself up about it, which solves nothing, but beggars up your mindset worse.

So initally you made a slight fau pah, but since the moment, you've done positive things to understand it all, and that's good, so WELL DONE, for giving yourself the best possible chance, to put moments like this behind you and move on.

You didn't even do anything really wrong anyway. It's not like you ate a slice of Cake, or Pizza, so be proud of how you've worked this situation to a positive conclusion, stay focused on the job in hand, (you're doing brilliantly overall, really superbly), and keep believing and trusting in yourself.

You should be proud of your overall achievement Angela. I'm proud for you, and I'm really happy for you.

You're a bit of an inspiration to others, you're "human" too, and you're a wonderful person.

So chin up, keep smiling, and GOOD LUCK.

YOU ROCK misses.

:-) :-).

I know how you feel, I just can't have it around and telling people doesn't seem to help.

I hate the idea of calling Tony whenever I feel the urge to cheat, so I call Katiefeldmom sometimes, or we IM a lot. I'd be happy to be your go to person if you want one, let me know and we'll exchange infomration.
