My night last night:
Came home from work and i did 30 minutes on the treadmill...came upstairs, made dinner, watched a little tv.....went back down and did another 30 minutes, came up, did some abs while i watched The Office and then went up to take a shower :) After my lovely shower i watched about 25 minutes of The Biggest Loser which i DVR'd (is that a word? LOL) and then went to sleep! But I did get up this morning and got in 30 minutes of EMC before the gym....then at the gym I did another 10 minutes on the elliptical and then did my triceps workout :)
At lunch i did steps again in the fire stairwell....floor 23 to 28 double stepped...then ran down to 15 and double stepped with 3 pulses on each leg all the way back up to 28, stretched, ran back down to 15 and then just double stepped back up to 23. 20 minute quick little jolt!
I have gone to the bathroom i think so far today about 10-12 times already and its only 2:45! I actually have to go right now and im dancing in my seat...hold on...i will be back...LOL!
Ok...much better!
Tonight i have to straighten up my living room and my bathroom and then get in another hour of cardio!
We have angelica tonight so then when she gets there i will make dinner and then we will watch ANTM together :) I cant wait to see it!
I feel a little leaner today..im afraid to weigh in.. he wants my weigh in on monday morning but i may just weigh in tomorrow to..just to see ;)
Well i guess thats all i got right now....

good job on the cardio!! that is the hardest part for me! :) enjoy your weekend!!!
Hi Angela,
Have you talked to Tony about trying some plyometrics (think cheerleading moves). Maybe during your hour long cardio, do 1 minute of plyo for every 9 minutes of cardio (9-1,9-1,etc.) Like jumping jacks, jump on and off a low box, touch the floor and jump up and reach for the ceiling, jump rope, jump bodyweight squats (killer), jumping bodyweight split squats are some examples. This REALLY seems to lean down my legs, but I am an apple shape, not pear, so . . . The little one minute of plyo may do wonders for both leaning out your legs and jumpstart fat loss. Also, maybe try outside cardio one day per week rather than treadmill. The subtle changes in terrain and footing challeges your body in different ways which is good to bust a platau. Of course, run all this by Tony. But warning; don't get too carried away (do too much) with the jumping stuff. Start slow, because it really is harder than it sounds! But I noticed a big change in my legs after just 3 weeks of doing this. Might be worth a try. Also, maybe ask Tony if you should limit the weight on leg exercises? Good work. Keep it up.
Keep pushing forwards, and try not to think about things too much. You can only do the very best you can, not defy the laws of nature.
Time will get the results you ARE capable of and DO deserve.
Take care and good luck.
:-) :-).

Thank you so much for the kind words! Yeah, he is the second person in my family to struggle with addiction. My mom is an alcoholic and has been for years, and she is just like your brother. She won't admit she has a problem and thinks she is fine. Even though it feels like we are just watching her spiral downward. It is really sad to see someone so close to you do that. you know that deep down there is a different person inside there and it is being masked by the addiction. I will pray for your brother to find the need for help. It is so hard to be a bystander but sometimes that is all you can do. :-/
